When designing your pool fence please follow our hints below to ensure the best outcome:

  • It is always best to fix the gate from a wall to ensure full strength otherwise a gate fixed off another glass panel can sometimes look odd due to is possibly creating uneven gaps between glass panels and possible loss of strength;
  • The hydraulic gate can be setup to open either left or right and must open away from pool.
  • The gate latch can be clamped without any the need for holes drilled into the adjoining glass panel;
  • Our common glass panel sizes range from 1100mm to 1500mm. We would recommend the use of at least two pool legs per glass panel for our common sizes. Any glass panel size over our common panel sizes, we would recommend the use of three pool legs per panel;
  • Aim is to use as many of the same size glass panels to create a more balanced look;
  • Depending on floor surface you are installing your pool fence to, we recommend you install the spigots into a solid footing or base. We stock spigots designed for fixing to timber decking and spigots designed to fix to concrete. If you are fixing the spigots to pavers, you will need to form a concrete footing underneath and cement pavers into the concrete footing. Please view our spigot data sheets to ensure you choose the correct spigot;
  • Watch out for underground power cables and pipes when digging or drilling; and
  • Please ensure any walls, piers, posts, garden beds etc are clearly shown on the diagram.

Our Stallion Pool Fencing team will re-confirm your fence planner diagram with you prior to a final price being provided and ordering to ensure it conforms to your local council requirements and any relevant Australian standards.
